Overview
As Finance Manager - SGS Business Finance you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial support to the SGS (SITA Global Services) business teams across the globe. You will provide key financial information and performance indicators as well as forward-looking business analysis to support SGS's long-term strategy and growth. As part of the SGS Finance team, you will promote financial excellence in serving the business by proactively engaging with the Head of SGS Finance, SGS Senior Leaders, their Business Teams across all GEO's and Departments, Business Finance colleagues in the GEO's, BUs, Corporate Control and FP&A, seeking and providing guidance and advice on relevant matters.
What you will do
* Manage and control the period financial results for SGS (process, timelines, content)
* Deliver best-in-class financial reporting, value-added analysis and decision-support to the business, interpreting key performance drivers and business dynamics to optimize SGS cost-effectiveness and efficiency
* Manage the financial control and support of projects within SGS
* Lead the monthly/quarterly reviews with cost budget owners, GEO's and SAB, including cost and recharge reviews
* Complete the SGS monthly/quarterly forecast (at required level of granularity)
* Complete the SGS budgeting process including the settlement of interlock reviews with relevant business owners and finance stakeholders
* Preparation of consolidated finance content for SGS/BPR
* Adhoc projects and analysis to support SGS Head of Finance and SGS Business Leaders
* Ensuring alignment between Corporate reporting and Management reporting results
* Confirming IFRS and accounting policies compliance
* Supporting the Audit activity
* Playing an active role in the Balance Sheet control activity
* Participating in relevant SGS BAB submissions ensuring adherence to corporate governance
* Providing input and review of the preparation of business cases
* Providing pricing support during the preparation of new contract proposals as necessary
* Provide financial support as required on key SGS, Finance and Corporate Strategic programs
* Define, manage and deliver improvement plans and support special projects related to SGS Business (eg cost management initiatives) and to increase the quality of the SGS business finance function
* Support and coach other SGS finance team members as required
Qualifications
Who you are
* 5 to 10 years of combined Business Finance, FP&A or Controlling experience preferably within a large international company with a matrix business structure
* People management in an international environment
* Interacting at senior management level
* Experience in delegation, exercising good judgement between personal involvement and delegation (zoom in/out)
* Ability to challenge and make recommendations for improvements
* Management Accounting
* Financial and Budget Control experience
* Proficient knowledge of Financial Systems (Competence in Excel and Essbase are mandatory)
* Knowledge of International Accounting standards
* Quality control skills
* Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
* High quality results orientation
* Strong presentation skills both written and verbal
* Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Management
* MBA or equivalent qualification is desirable
* Membership of a relevant Finance/Accounting accreditation body is desirable
