In this role, you will underwrite and price risks for SMEs at Chubb’s Madrid center, aligning coverage with client needs. You will collaborate with France-based teams to sustain portfolios and drive cross-selling, while leveraging data and technology to improve underwriting decisions. You’ll manage client relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely, high-quality service in a multilingual, cross-border setting. This is a chance to contribute to a values-driven, collaborative, and data-informed underwriting function.

Responsabilidades
- Underwrite, evaluate, and price risks following guidelines and authority
- Coordinate with France-based teams to ensure portfolio sustainability and cross-sell offerings
- Manage broker relationships and lead contract negotiations with brokers
- Oversee policy lifecycle, document underwriting rationale and risk selections
- Collaborate with Operations, Claims, and Small & Middle Market leaders
- Leverage technology to enhance underwriting analysis and streamline processes
- Analyze data insights to identify patterns and inform underwriting decisions
- Support development efforts to achieve business strategies
Requisitos principales
- German language fluency or native speaking level
- Business-level English
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is an advantage
- Insurance background is preferable
- Prior underwriter experience in Property is preferable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Critical thinking and ability to break down complex problems
- Attention to detail, prioritization, and meeting deadlines
- Sales acumen to identify customer needs and opportunities
- Adaptability to changing conditions
