As an Environmental Underwriter at AXA XL, you will manage new and renewal business within an allocated client range, supporting profitable growth and strong broker/client relationships. You’ll assess risk using submissions, insurance history, and financial data, setting premiums that reflect risk costs and reinsurance needs. You’ll advise clients on risk management and cross-sell solutions, collaborating with internal teams to meet the business plan. This role blends underwriting expertise with environmental risk insight in a purpose-driven, inclusive environment.

Responsabilidades

Review submissions (applications, policy wording, inspection reports, loss runs, financials) to determine risk level
Calculate risk premium considering sector risk, reinsurance cessions, and underwriting costs to ensure profitability
Advise and service clients on insurance and risk management needs to ensure satisfaction
Manage relationships to identify cross-sell opportunities and support account retention
Ensure timely implementation of new/renewed accounts per quality standards
Support business planning and forecasting; monitor financial exposure and premium income within limits
Maintain awareness of claims and contribute to settlement input
