As Technical Payload Leader you guide the Ground Segment Software efforts within SATCOM projects, aligning technical activity with the director’s strategy and project constraints. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated systems, lead proposals, and ensure quality, timing, and compliance. The role blends hands-on engineering leadership with strategic planning in a space-tech context. You’ll stay ahead of industry trends to continually boost system performance, offering clear technical insights to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

Assist the Technical Director in overseeing technical activities and strategic planning
Lead development of Ground Segment Software and ensure integration of system components
Lead SATCOM domain proposals and bid responses
Analyze requirements, develop project plans, and ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost process efficiency and innovation
Conduct technical reviews and provide improvement recommendations
Stay updated on technological trends and implement relevant updates to enhance performance
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Requisitos principales

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in Ground Segment Software development with a system-level perspective
Proven experience in managing and delivering complex projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities; able to work with diverse teams
High level of English; basic French
SATCOM technologies: DTP, BFN, OBP
Networking: 5G, LEO constellations, routing algorithms
Knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices, and modern software frameworks
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
