We are expanding our radio frequency equipment that is part of the Galileo project, 'the European GPS'. where you can carry out satellite system tests ️ and verify the ground-space interfaces  between the new G2 satellites and future ground stations.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

Within GMV's great TTCF team in Madrid, you will be able to support the  validation of ground-space interfaces for Galileo satellites and perform functions such as:

Monitoring subcontractor activities for integration of test measurement banks, ICD review and documentation data packages from design phase to acceptance.
️ Run RF compatibility tests using representative satellite equipment.
 End-to-end testing support between ground segment and satellite for TM/TC testing.
Review/write test reports and support verification dashboards with mapping between test procedures and requirements.
Support anomaly investigations and problem fixes in the system and its interfaces.
️ Follow up on the design activities and detailed development of the evolutions of the Galileo Ground Control Segment in the areas of Ground Stations, antenna mechanics, Radio Frequency (RF) and customer monitoring and control.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for engineers with experience in satellite communication, RF testing and subsystem integration verification and validation activities and:

High level of English (C1)
Make/review link budgets for satellite/terrestrial stations.
RF measurements for telecommand, telemetry and spread spectrum telemetry and other modes, CCSDS standards, modulation schemes, coding and TRANSEC security protocols.
Hands-on experience in validating ground station operating systems, including generating test plans, test specifications/procedures, and test reports.
Satellite operational validation tests and RF test campaigns.
 ‍️ Knowledge of TT&C baseband equipment and SLE protocol.
Manage requirements from the design phase to verification and validation using tools such as DOORS (or other applications)
