As System Architect, you will lead the technical design of logistics and parcel sorting systems, integrating mechanical and automation components. You will shape end-to-end architectures, layouts, and interfaces to ensure robust, scalable solutions. You will assess feasibility and commercial viability of concepts, while coordinating integration and on-site commissioning. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute feedback to R&D, operating in a global, collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades
- Define and develop system architectures for logistics and parcel sorting systems, including mechanical and steelwork components
- Design layouts and oversee detailed engineering and integration of system components
- Evaluate mechanical concepts for feasibility and commercial viability
- Specify, select, and integrate standard products and subsystems into logistics solutions
- Coordinate interfaces and integration of system components for seamless functionality
- Validate and verify designs against project requirements and compliance standards
- Conduct on-site inspections and assist commissioning of mechanical components
- Provide technical feedback and lessons learned to engineering and R&D teams
- Mentor and guide junior team members as the department grows
Requisitos principales
- Degree in Mechanical, Automation, or Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and system architecture within transport, logistics, or parcel sorting systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD 3D for layout design
- Skilled in 3D design tools: Inventor, SolidWorks, or Solid Edge
- Solid experience in conceptual and detailed design of steel structures
- Exposure to civil works and infrastructure design for logistics systems (preferred)
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
- Strong communicator, team player, and willing to international travel
