Experteer Overview
In this role you will define and execute the labor relations and legal compliance strategy across Glovo, with a focus on the Spanish market. You will lead a small People team to ensure regulatory integrity and foster constructive labor relations. You will draft and negotiate contracts, interpret CBAs, advise on disciplinary and labor inspection matters, and drive cross-functional collaboration to translate business strategy into People initiatives. This is a high-impact, fast-growing role at a mission-driven, diverse tech scale-up.

Responsabilidades
- Lead and develop a team of 3 People Advisors; set goals and support growth
- Ensure compliance with Spanish and relevant international labor regulations
- Be the main contact for People Team, managers and external legal counsel on Employment Law (Spain)
- Draft operating rules, contract proposals, and counter-proposals for labor negotiations
- Interpret CBAs to ensure compliance with wage laws and regulations
- Guide disciplinary policies in alignment with Spanish law
- Provide guidance on labor inspections and address grievances
- Manage collective bargaining and negotiation to prevent legal action
- Advise People on labor-related matters using available regulations and tools
- Implement training for managers and People Department on labor law best practices
- Oversee hiring, disciplinary procedures, dismissals, and compensation processes
- Develop and implement disciplinary investigations, recommendations and corrective actions
- Maintain relations with Workers Representatives and Works Committees
- Translate business strategy into People strategy
- Improve programs and controls in response to regulatory changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a supportive, growth-focused environment
Requisitos principales
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law studied in Spain
- Deep knowledge of Spanish labor regulations, payroll, and labor relations
- Minimum 7 years in a senior labor/HR/legal role
- At least 3 years of experience leading a team
- Experience representing Company Committees and negotiating collective agreements
- Experience managing labor relations across diverse business areas
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Business-first mindset with strong ethics and autonomy
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (Legal, People Operations)
- Strong organizational skills and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Empathetic, inclusive, curious attitude
