As Global Technology Manager SPS, you lead product and concept development across two development teams and two European sites, driving R&D objectives within a matrix organisation. You shape policy for R&D and SPS Digitalisation & Standardisation, coordinate budgets, and ensure cross-disciplinary coherence. You engage with customers and external partners, and represent the function at trade fairs and events. You supervise a team of ~5 direct and ~15 indirect, fostering development and continuous improvement. This role offers impact in advancing gas upgrading and thermodynamics technologies in a global industrial setting.

Responsabilidades

Lead interdisciplinary research teams of about 5 direct and 15 indirect employees across two sites
Develop and implement R&D and SPS Digitalisation & Standardisation policy aligned with matrix strategy
Plan and monitor department budgets and project budgets after approval
Ensure coherence across disciplines within a matrix organisation and across sites (Venlo and Fredericia)
Determine strategic annual plans and assess overall department effectiveness
Identify market/scientific opportunities and translate them to products, processes, and procedures
Maintain national/international customer contacts and participate in trade fairs, workshops, and congresses
Plan department work, organize processes and methods to meet objectives, monitor progress and adjust as needed
Lead HR activities within budget (appointments, development, training, assessment, progression, outflow)
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead improvement projects
Promote Health & Safety standards, provide resources and training, monitor improvements
Provide guidance to stakeholders and ensure safety/regulatory compliance

Requisitos principales

Master or Ph.D. level in a relevant field
>10 years of relevant experience with technical knowledge in gas upgrading, thermodynamics
Technical expertise in chemical engineering, process engineering, gas separation
Strong leadership skills
Knowledge of English language
