As Software QA Test Automation Engineer at Siemens ProductCERT SBOM, you will design and implement automated testing to ensure high-quality, scalable software. Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts from requirements and specs
- Ensure QA activities align with testing strategy and report quality metrics
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and UAT testing across platforms
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects with development teams for timely resolution
- Collaborate to maintain and enhance automated test suites and integrate into CI/CD pipelines
- Establish test automation standards and frameworks as needed
- Contribute to continuous QA process improvements, tools, and methodologies
- Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments and data
- Provide comprehensive test reports for functional and non-functional testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues related to test automation
Requisitos principales
- Strong QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Ability to create clear test plans and cases
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for scripting and framework development
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and Cucumber
- Experience testing APIs and microservices (REST, GraphQL)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- Knowledge of performance testing and metrics interpretation
- Experience automating manual processes using AI-based approaches
- Understanding of CI/CD and Git workflows
- Experience testing cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
