In this Engineering Manager role, you lead and mentor a team of engineers focused on Isovalent’s networking, security and observability initiatives. You will partner with technical leads and leadership to drive high-quality software delivery while preserving culture as the team scales. The role centers on enabling engineers, tracking progress, and shaping impact across the Cilium project and related cloud-native efforts. You will work across time zones with teams on the East Coast and Europe, aligning on strategy and execution. This is a hands-on leadership position that leverages your Go and Linux/Kubernetes expertise to deliver meaningful infrastructure software.

Responsabilidades

Grow and mentor software engineers and technical leaders
Deliver continuous feedback and performance reviews with input from leads and senior leadership
Track project progress and help engineers develop project management skills
Preserve engineering culture at scale
Model company culture and values

Requisitos principales

3+ years of Engineering Management experience
5+ years of Software Development experience in any language
2+ years of experience with Go
3+ years of Linux, Kubernetes and networking stack experience
