Experteer Overview

As part of Ring’s backend team, you will build low-latency, highly available systems powering doorbells, cameras and related devices. You will collaborate with engineers and product managers to design and iterate on distributed services that deliver customer value. You’ll write robust code with solid documentation and emphasize test automation and secure, scalable solutions. You’ll also explore generative AI to boost productivity while upholding security standards. This role offers hands-on impact in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsabilidades

Design and document distributed systems and microservices
Implement robust, maintainable code with clear documentation
Deliver customer value through iterative development toward long-term roadmap goals
Communicate status and updates to stakeholders
Implement unit and integration tests
Leverage generative AI tools to improve productivity, code quality, and system design while ensuring security and compliance

Requisitos principales

Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
Experience designing or architecting systems for reliability and scaling
Experience programming in at least one programming language
