As a Software Developer at Verisure, you will shape IoT backend solutions and enterprise-grade software for our security-focused technology hub in Spain. You will own delivery and service for applications, collaborating with cross-country teams to drive scalable backend design. Your work will span REST APIs, microservices and cloud-enabled platforms, delivering impactful features that enhance safety at scale. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to influence architecture and ensure best practices across IoT backend development in a fast-growing, mission-driven company.
Responsabilidades
- Develop analyses and designs aligned with business requirements
- Build and maintain IoT backend solutions
- Propose implementation alternatives and contribute backend technical vision
- Enforce best practices in IoT backend development
- Act as application owner for delivery and service
Requisitos principales
- Master in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications
- English at least B2
- min 5 years IT experience
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum)
- REST API development; Distributed systems; Java; Spring/Spring Boot; HTTP(S)
- CI/CD tooling (Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, JUnit, etc.) and version control (Git)
- Relational and non-relational databases
- Microservices orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Message brokers: RabbitMQ, Kafka
- Event-driven architectures
- Secured communications (certificates)
- Test automation
- AWS knowledge
