In this role you will lead system-level testing for advanced embedded software and SoC solutions at MaxLinear’s Valencia Design Center. You will partner with hardware and software teams to ensure robust, high-performance communication systems from Pre-silicon to post-silicon stages. You’ll drive test strategy, automate suites, and maintain cloud-based test environments to enable faster, quality-driven development. Responsabilidades

Review system specifications and provide feedback to design teams
Analyze requirements for testability and plan design
Design and implement test procedures for Pre-silicon and Post-silicon validation
Automate system-level test suites using Python and lab APIs
Own test specifications and automation tasks for timely delivery
Maintain and enhance cloud-based test infrastructure
Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to align testing with goals
Execute, analyze, and report system test results with actionable insights
Generate performance reports and product documentation
Contribute to test strategy with quality gates and metrics
Track and report defects, verify fixes, and ensure resolution
Drive process improvements by introducing new methodologies, tools, and workflows

Requisitos principales

Bachelor’s in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience
Strong background in systems testing
Familiarity with RF and digital communication systems hardware/software and high-volume SoCs
DSP techniques for communications
Hands-on lab instruments (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope)
Advanced Python programming skills and API design capability
