In this role you will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend systems that ingest large-scale engineering data and transform it into actionable insights via Flow. You’ll own features end-to-end and deliver production-grade HTTP APIs used across the Flow platform. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to improve product quality, performance, and customer experience in a fully remote environment. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to influence architecture, coding standards, and engineering excellence, contributing to a data-driven, developer-focused SaaS product.

Responsabilidades

Design and evolve backend data ingestion and processing systems
Own features end-to-end from concept through deployment
Build and maintain production-grade HTTP APIs for the Flow platform
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and partners across teams
Contribute to coding standards, architecture discussions, and technical direction
Review code and mentor peers to raise engineering quality
Support greenfield projects and iteratively improve existing systems
Ensure quality, reliability, scalability, performance, and security in a low-QA environment

Requisitos principales

5+ years of backend or full-stack experience in a SaaS environment
Strong proficiency in SQL
Proficiency in Python
Experience designing and building production HTTP APIs
Experience with cloud-hosted services and containerized applications
Strong understanding of system performance, scalability, and data-intensive workflows
Practical experience with Git and code review practices
Comfort with autonomy and ownership in an Agile environment
