In this role you will design, build, and maintain Jira Cloud apps built on Atlassian Forge, ensuring high-quality frontend features and scalable performance. You’ll own product areas end-to-end, collaborating with product managers and designers to deliver intuitive Jira Cloud experiences. You will write clean, tested code, review peers, and improve app reliability and Forge performance, while contributing to automation, CI/CD, and internal tooling. You’ll mentor teammates and help shape frontend standards as part of Appfire’s Jira Cloud Apps Team, with remote work option from Bulgaria.

Responsabilidades
- Design and implement features in React + TypeScript on Atlassian Forge
- Own complex product areas from concept to release
- Collaborate with product managers and designers for frontend experiences
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot and optimize frontend performance within Forge runtime
- Improve reliability and scalability of Forge apps
- Mentor engineers and share frontend best practices
- Contribute to automation, CI/CD improvements, and internal tooling
Requisitos principales
- 5+ years of professional frontend or full-stack experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, modern JavaScript patterns, state management, and component architecture
- Experience with cloud or serverless apps (Forge, AWS Lambda, or similar)
- Experience with REST APIs, asynchronous flows, and frontend performance optimization
- Solid understanding of CSS/SCSS and frontend build tooling (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently
