As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will strengthen the Database Platform within Platform Engineering to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure for core data services. You will collaborate with product teams to streamline database provisioning and reliability, while guiding incident response and architecture. You’ll mentor peers, shape roadmaps, and drive observability to meet availability targets. This role blends hands-on engineering with leadership to advance a high-impact, product-focused platform.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, and implement platform solutions to improve reliability, security, and scalability of the Database Platform infrastructure
Provide technical leadership in cloud infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and security for operational data storage solutions
Collaborate with Product Teams to enable seamless database provisioning and operational efficiency
Mentor and coach team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Shaping the team's strategy, roadmap, and architecture
Lead incident management and troubleshooting to ensure a stable environment
Define and maintain observability (metrics, logging, tracing) to meet availability targets

Requisitos principales

Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
Operational data storage experience (e.g., PostgreSQL, AmazonRDS, S3)
Hands-on with Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
Networking and security best practices in cloud environments
Familiarity with observability tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
