In this role, you will lead injection molding operations at the Mogadore, OH site, guiding a team of supervisors and technical staff to ensure high-quality, efficient production. You’ll drive Lean initiatives, optimize processes across multiple shifts, and set the technical direction to improve OEE and reduce scrap. You work closely with Engineering, Tooling, Production, and Quality to meet technical and production goals and support product launches. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends manufacturing excellence with strategic operational stewardship, in a culture built on integrity and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

Lead and coach a group of supervisors and a broader technical team across shifts
Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement culture
Coordinate shift activities and enforce technical standards
Initiate and apply Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work) to improve flow and reduce waste
Lead cross-functional Lean initiatives to boost productivity and OEE
Oversee setup, operation, and optimization of injection molding processes
Analyze process deviations, drive root-cause analysis, and reduce scrap and cycle times
Provide SME support for tooling, mold validation, and process qualification
Track KPIs (OEE, scrap, cycle time) and push data-driven decisions
Collaborate with Engineering, Tooling, Production, and Quality and contribute to audits and strategic planning environments

Requisitos principales

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
7+ years in injection molding with leadership of technical teams
3+ years supervising other supervisors or team leaders
Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, automation, and production optimization
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvement
