In this role you will contribute to the design, integration and validation of advanced powertrain and vehicle systems for heavy-duty and off-road applications in a defense-related project. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to model, simulate and optimize electrified propulsion, engine and transmission architectures, and electronic systems. The position offers exposure to international collaboration and cutting-edge mobility tech in a confidential, high-demand environment. You will shape platform concepts and ensure performance, reliability and cost targets are met.
Responsabilidades
- Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems: engine/gearbox, thermal management and climate control, electric machines and propulsion, vehicle dynamics and steering
- System modeling and simulation to validate performance and optimize functionality
- System integration and impact analysis of changes on overall architecture
- Technical supplier management: evaluating and adapting international components to national suppliers
- Collaboration on hybridization systems and electronic architecture projects
Requisitos principales
- Bachelor in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Automotive Engineering
- 5-10 years in powertrain system development or related automotive tech with a focus on electrified powertrains
- Deep knowledge of hybrid powertrain architectures, including motor and battery integration
- Experience managing engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Technical experience in electronic systems architecture, engine calibration, software, and product design
- CAPEX, OPEX, PRF budgeting ability
- Familiarity with SIEMENS NX, CATIA, ANSYS MECHANICAL, NASTRAN, FLOTHERM, FLO EFD, ESATAN, CRUISE M, EXCITE M
- Defense experience is valued
- High level of Spanish and English
