In this senior role you lead the integration and system-level design of an air treatment machine, owning fluid systems, air handling, and overall subsystem integration from detailed design to validated prototype. You will ensure compliance and manufacturability while coordinating cross-functional inputs. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive robust mechanical solutions and deliver a first-of-a-kind machine. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at Celestica’s engineering center in Europe.

Responsabilidades

Lead design of fluid and air handling systems, including inlet and high-temperature gas recirculation loops
Perform CFD and thermal analyses to optimize airflow and minimize thermal losses
Design sheet metal cabinets and safety covers
Manage mechanical integration of OEM components (pumps, chillers, etc.) for after-treatment and recirculation loops
Develop complete piping and tubing layouts, brackets, and mounting hardware for machine frame
Oversee mechanical layout of main electrical enclosure and thermal management
Create and maintain technical documentation
Provide hands-on prototyping support during prototype assembly
Design packaging and shipping solutions for the machine
