In this role you support the European sales team as a technical subject matter expert for Visa Acceptance Solutions. You enable complex pre-sales engagements by detailing product capabilities, validating designs, and ensuring solutions meet client requirements. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful implementations and knowledge transfer. The opportunity sits at the intersection of payments technology, solution design, and client engagement within a purpose-driven payments leader.
Responsabilidades
- Develop deep product knowledge through self-driven learning and testing to act as SME for prospects
- Provide pre-sales support in meetings with large prospects, including presentations, product demos, and whiteboard sessions
- Deliver technical consultancy to agree and validate solution designs that meet client requirements
- Support handover to Implementation Specialists for smooth deployment
- Produce proposals and contribute to RFI/RFP sections with technical content
- Create small internal tools or proofs-of-concept to evaluate products and troubleshoot issues
- Deliver training on Visa Acceptance Solutions to customers via classroom or train-the-trainer sessions
- Document business and functional requirements to support successful implementation
- Work independently on customer sites across Europe (hybrid work arrangement)
- Engage with multiple verticals: Retail, Travel, Digital, Financial, Government & Gaming
Requisitos principales
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree or 2+ years with a PhD
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, science, engineering or computing, or equivalent
- 5+ years in Payment Acceptance industry with emphasis on product pillars or similar tech/service delivery
- 5+ years in sales engineering within technical and commercial environments
- Proven ability to support large, complex Direct and Indirect level clients over time
- Strong cross-functional collaboration experience
- Pre-sales, service delivery or consultancy for multinational engagements
- Programming ability for web service implementation across hosted platforms
- Fluent in Spanish and English; second language (e.g., French, German) preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to explain technical concepts to varied audiences
- Fully fluent in document creation, presentations, and data management
