In this role you will define and drive the Global Development data strategy to enable scalable analytics, AI/ML, and regulatory activities. You’ll orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to standardize data assets and ensure they are reusable across programs. You will implement FAIR data practices, governance, and semantic alignment to support integrated data ecosystems. The role offers meaningful impact by accelerating study timelines and strengthening regulatory readiness across therapeutic areas.

Responsabilidades

Shape and deliver the Global Development data strategy aligned with enterprise R&D priorities
Partner with clinical and regulatory teams to identify data needs and opportunities; onboard external data sources
Build and maintain a multi-year data strategy roadmap with scalable, reusable outcomes
Embed FAIR principles and agile delivery into execution for interoperability
Align data assets to internal/external standards (CDISC, HL7 FHIR, TransCelerate DDF) and connect to enterprise knowledge graph
Oversee end-to-end lifecycle management of high-value data assets ensuring quality, accessibility, and compliance
Define and monitor KPIs (study startup acceleration, submission readiness, data reuse) and report impact to stakeholders
Champion data strategy adoption across clinical, regulatory, data science, QA, medical writing, and IT teams

Requisitos principales

6+ years in pharma/biotech R&D, focused on clinical development, data strategy, and governance
Proven success delivering data initiatives in a regulated environment across multiple therapeutic areas
Masters or PhD in Life Sciences, Data Science, Informatics, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent experience
Familiarity with ontologies, semantic modeling, metadata governance, and industry standards
Strong knowledge of the clinical trial lifecycle and regulatory data requirements
Experience in data management, integration, and implementation of FAIR principles
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and communicate complex data concepts clearly
Proven leadership in cross-functional data initiatives and stakeholder management
