In this Senior Counsel role, you guide data, privacy, AI, cyber security across SITA’s global business. You work closely with product, engineering and delivery teams to embed privacy by design, regulatory alignment, and secure technology practices. The position is hands-on, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to shape technology partnerships and AI initiatives. You’ll influence legal strategy at executive levels while driving practical, proactive guidance. This is a chance to shape travel tech legal strategy at scale and support a leader in the sector.

Responsabilidades
- Advise Global Privacy Office and senior partners on data privacy to align the program with ownership principles and privacy by design
- Support Enterprise Information Security Office on evolving cyber regulatory requirements to uphold best-in-class security standards
- Guide Technology & Engineering teams and business units to embed cyber-security requirements and data best practices in product development
- Define and negotiate key technology partnerships with internal teams and ecosystem partners
- Provide guidance on AI-related engagements and governance for products and operations
- Advise on global technology and data deals, ensuring regulatory positioning supports SITA’s leadership in travel tech
- Foster cross-functional alignment with IP, Regulatory, and Finance & Corporate teams
- Lead data incident response activities for Legal and manage external counsel when needed
- Advise Executive Leadership Team on strategy in data, privacy, AI and cyber matters
- Deliver proactive training in data privacy, AI, and cyber-related areas
Requisitos principales
- Degree in Law with licensed attorney status (or equivalent)
- 12+ years PQE in private practice and industry with emphasis on data, privacy, AI, cyber, and related areas
- Post-qualification certifications in ECPC-AI, AIGP, ECPC-B Professional DPO, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT
- Strong commercial contracts experience and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Strong written and oral English communication; additional languages desirable
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and engage with senior counsel, business leaders, and external partners
- Drive, problem-solving mindset, and ownership
- People-centric with ability to motivate and communicate clearly
- Analytical mindset with comfort in ambiguity and data-supported reasoning
- Growth orientation and receptiveness to feedback
- Effective cross-functional communicator with global stakeholders
