In this role you will design and refine engaging gameplay systems for Gameloft’s Barcelona studio, shaping core mechanics across mobile titles. You’ll prototype, document, and implement features, coordinating with art and development teams to ensure high quality. You’ll contribute to production planning, benchmarking, and feature maintenance, driving continuous improvement. You’ll work within an international, growth‑minded environment to deliver compelling player experiences.

Responsabilidades

Design and prototype engaging gameplay mechanics based on briefs
Document, implement and fine-tune features within the game
Coordinate with art and development teams and the producer
Engage in creative, benchmarking, documentation, and analysis tasks
Follow-up on feature maintenance and continuous improvement

Requisitos principales

Strong knowledge of game design principles (3Cs, progression balancing, UI, accessibility)
Proven experience (3+ years) in gameplay design
Experience in a senior design role
Ability to convey ideas concisely and formalize complex concepts
Proficiency in visual prototyping and documentation using industry tools (Photoshop, PowerPoint, Figma, Confluence, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, Unity)
Good documentation skills
Passion for creating video games
Knowledge of classic console and freemium mobile game markets
Excellent communication and collaboration within project teams
Experience with racing games and multiplayer systems is a plus
High visual creativity and strong UI skills
English proficiency
