Senior Cloud Security Engineer at N26 to lead data protection across cloud environments. You will implement cloud data security strategy, deploy DLP/DSPM, and drive secure data handling with cross-functional teams. You’ll design cloud-native security solutions, perform threat modeling, and support incident response. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic risk management in a fast-paced fintech setting.

Responsabilidades

Develop and drive Cloud Data Security strategy with cross-functional leadership
Deploy, configure and manage DLP/DSPM to gain data visibility and enforce security policies
Implement data classification and tagging for sensitive data in cloud environments
Design and maintain cloud-native security solutions with threat detection, automation, and remediation
Conduct proactive research to identify new attack vectors
Lead Threat Modeling Sessions for Cloud, AI and Infrastructure services
Monitor vulnerabilities, assess risk, and coordinate mitigations with teams
Define pentesting scope and scenarios
Document guidelines to strengthen security posture and cloud operations
Provide first-class stakeholder support via the portal
Participate in security incident on-call rotation (voluntary) and lead incidents

Requisitos principales

Deep understanding of cloud data security challenges and best practices
Experience securing AWS, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and Linux systems
Experience with security risk assessment and mitigation
Knowledge of security frameworks and tactics (STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP)
Hands-on with deploying and managing DLP/DSPM, CNAPP, vulnerability scanners, endpoint security
Familiarity with data platforms (DWH, databases, cloud storage, ETL)
Proficiency with CI/CD automation (Terraform) for security testing and change management
Hands-on with modern cloud components: VMs, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, IaC
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
Nice to have: GenAI and LLM security experience
Agile mindset, collaboration, hands-on delivery, strong communication
Educational background: Master’s in cybersecurity or Bachelor’s with advanced security certification
