In this role you will establish and lead the digital science capability for Roche’s dBM and RPM chapter within RIS, shaping digital endpoints for clinical trials and care. You will develop roadmaps and drive regulatory acceptance for novel digital outcome measures, guiding a team of scientists from research to clinically validated algorithms. You collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to advance digital health solutions that improve patient outcomes and support drug development. You will engage with the global research community, advocating for digital endpoints and contributing to scientific leadership and transformation at Roche.

Responsabilidades

Establish and grow the digital biomarker science team to serve RIS needs from research to clinically validated algorithms
Develop a roadmap for novel digital outcome measures and drive regulatory and community acceptance
Lead the digital science capability within the RIS DA&R organization
Represent Science in the chapter leadership and contribute to strategic evolution
Collaborate with clinical development, biomarker, translational science, data science, regulatory, and privacy teams
Drive acceptance and adoption of digital endpoints through cross-industry collaboration and external dissemination
Drive internal and external change to maximize the potential of Digital Health Technology in trials and clinical use

Requisitos principales

PhD in a quantitative natural science or medical discipline with focus on large-scale data analysis
10+ years in the pharmaceutical or related industry with impact on decision making in clinical drug or medical device development
Strong leadership experience in a large organization
Extensive experience designing and analyzing complex, long-term clinical experiments
Proven ability to build internal and external networks
Recognized as a digital health leader by the community
Native English or equivalent with excellent writing skills
Problem-solving and structured approach in a fast-changing environment
Ability to set direction and inspire a team of scientists
