In this role you will drive growth within Spain and Portugal by developing key customer relationships and leading cross-functional teams to design, price, and propose warehouse solutions. You will balance account management with new business development, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver value-driven proposals. You’ll manage bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely, quality delivery while aligning with regional and global objectives. This position offers impact across Southern Europe, with a focus on scalable, customer-centric solutions.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and grow relationships with key customers in Spain and Portugal (and occasionally other Southern Europe countries and Latin America).
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams on smaller projects, ensuring clear scope, pricing, and timelines that meet customer expectations.
  • Participate in contractual negotiations with customers.
  • Deliver presentations including pricing and operational details to illustrate how proposed systems meet business needs.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with all departments in Southern Europe and globally.
  • Keep CRM data up to date.
  • Inspire and guide the team to deliver on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Manage the bid process and ensure correct internal processes.

Requisitos principales

  • Proven sales experience in warehousing or logistics.
  • Professional level of Spanish and English.
  • Strong technical aptitude in material handling automation design and sales.
  • Understanding of operations and material flow in warehousing/manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to visit customer sites and engage with senior leaders.
  • Ability to identify stakeholders and influence buying decisions.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives.
  • Strong presentation and networking skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and value-based selling (ROI, NPV).
  • Profitability awareness and ability to align opportunities with margins.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Think Big mentality.
  • Knowledge of Vanderlande’s products or similar warehousing solutions is a plus.
