In this Estimator role, you will create detailed restoration estimates using Xactimate in line with IICRC standards to support commercial and insurance projects. You will work closely with Project Managers and field teams to scope jobs, document losses with photos, and manage all estimate-related documents. The role emphasizes accurate takeoffs, cost estimation, and timely communication with insurance carriers and clients. You will contribute to project risk assessment and ensure estimates align with carrier audit standards, supporting the company’s restoration services at scale. Responsabilidades

Inspect and scope jobs onsite with the PM/crew chief/lead tech
Document losses with photos and upload into system
Write reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software
Communicate key information via notes in required software
Estimate costs following carrier audit standards and client feedback
Coordinate with project manager/lead tech to ensure documentation completeness
Record drying status using mobile software
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters
Manage estimate documents and assess project risks
Review quotes and estimates with construction project team
Address estimate exceptions promptly

Requisitos principales

Xactimate experience is essential
Basic construction background understanding building materials and restoration processes
Knowledge of IICRC standards
Ability to inspect on-site and document losses
Effective communication with clients, carriers, and team
