In this role, you’ll join Hitachi Energy’s GIS Development team in Zurich to advance next‑gen gas‑insulated switchgear for high‑voltage applications. You will contribute to R&D activities, support eco‑gas solutions, and lead investigations to improve product reliability. You’ll work with international laboratories, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to push technology and product innovations. This is a hands‑on, impact‑driven position for someone who thrives in complex engineering challenges and collaboration across ecosystems.

Responsabilidades

Deliver R&D activities for high‑voltage product development
Support the development of innovative eco‑gas solutions
Lead technical investigations and root cause analyses
Drive product improvement and reliability initiatives
Plan, support, and evaluate testing and validation activities
Collaborate with global laboratories and external suppliers
Provide technical support for existing products and applications
Share knowledge and contribute to technical excellence across teams

Requisitos principales

Master in Electrical Engineering or PhD (minimum requirement: Master)
Minimum five years of industry experience in engineering or R&D
Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering
Experience in an industrial product development environment
Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication skills and fluent English
