As a Project Manager in ABB’s Service Robotics Operations, you drive medium-scale automation projects in healthcare, life sciences, and lab environments. You lead cross-functional teams, ensure delivery against standards and budgets, and shape technical and commercial solutions for customers. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders during proposal phases and steer execution to achieve impactful, regulated-environment outcomes. This role offers hands-on impact in expanding robotics automation capabilities within a global leader.
Responsabilidades
- Lead the execution of medium-size robotics/automation projects and ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and targets
- Support the proposal phase with customers: clarify requirements, define scope, design concepts, prepare technical solutions, estimate costs, assess risks, and coordinate vendor evaluations
- Direct the project team and establish the execution approach, overseeing planning, monitoring, and control of internal and external resources
- Monitor progress, resource utilization, and project financials to meet goals
- Identify, quantify, and manage project risks and pursue opportunities
- Drive formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment according to the contract
Requisitos principales
- 4 years of experience in robotics, automation, or laboratory technologies with a track record delivering complex projects in regulated environments
- Hands-on experience supporting proposal phases: requirements gathering, scope definition, solution design, cost estimation, vendor coordination, risk management, and documentation
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or related field with knowledge of robotics and automation technologies
- Excellent written and spoken English
