Product Owner
We are looking for a passionate and driven Product Owner to lead the development of innovative solutions in the fields of data engineering, analytics, and machine learning (ML).
Your mission will be to enhance the relevance of search algorithms across various digital touchpoints, including category pages, brand pages, and full-text search functionalities in online shops and mobile apps.
Responsibilities Drive the roadmap and backlog for ML-powered search relevance, aligning with compañía and enterprise strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and analysts to deliver hybrid search models, NLP solutions, recommendation systems, anomaly detection, and other advanced techniques. Focus on data preparation, KPI tracking, and analytics to ensure users find what they need quickly and efficiently. Translate strategic goals into actionable tasks and bridge the gap between compañía units and DevOps teams. Partner with interesadas across countries to gather requirements and implement impactful search improvements.
Profile Academic background in informatics, compañía informatics, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field. Solid understanding of ML algorithms and model development lifecycle, with interest in areas like search intent prediction and anomaly detection. Strong technical acumen with the ability to quickly grasp complex topics and translate them into compañía value. Familiarity with ML frameworks, SQL, and/or Python is a plus.
Experience in Agile product development; background in e-commerce and search technologies is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and a proactive mindset.
Flexibility to work remotely or from offices located in Germany. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
