In this role you will lead cross-functional information and technology management for the IoT Platform Engineering team, shaping governance, strategy, and ways of working. You will drive efficiency, cost reduction, and productivity while aligning engineering with Vodafone's technology roadmap. You will promote modern engineering practices and nurture innovation across distributed teams. Responsabilidades

Lead cross-functional management of information and technology for the IoT Platform Engineering team
Oversee strategy, governance, performance management, and defined ways of working for the IoT Platform
Improve efficiency and productivity across IoT Platform Engineering teams
Promote modern engineering practices, tooling, and methodologies aligned with enterprise standards
Drive demand management and prioritization within Platform Engineering
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
Support cost efficiency initiatives and lifecycle management across platform engineering
Influence outsourcing/insourcing decisions and location strategy to support goals
Coordinate improvement programs and ensure alignment with business objectives and IoT industry trends
Support KTLO portfolio management and prioritize resource allocation for internal and external forums

Requisitos principales

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Ten+ years in Engineering or Operational functions
Minimum 5 years in leadership including strategy, budgeting, and talent management
Strong talent development, coaching, mentoring, and team motivation for geographically distributed teams
Proven cross-functional leadership and ability to work with senior stakeholders
Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies and strategic business impact
Strong business acumen and budget, financial, and workforce management experience
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts succinctly to diverse audiences
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
