In this role you will deliver MES solutions to support our manufacturing business. You join the global MES team to transform the MES landscape toward a cloud-native architecture using OpenShift/Kubernetes and PostgreSQL, with Docker and Oracle integration. You will automate, integrate, standardize, and operate MES templates while supporting the full system life cycle. You will lead small-to-mid MES deployment projects across production sites and collaborate with OT teams for seamless shop-floor integration. This role emphasizes reliability, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to enable scalable, compliant manufacturing IT.

Responsabilidades

Collaborate with the global MES team to migrate MES to cloud-native architecture (OpenShift/Kubernetes, PostgreSQL) and support containerized deployments (Docker) with Oracle integration
Automate, integrate, standardize, optimize, and operate MES solutions based on existing templates
Support the system life cycle (design, planning, implementation, run) of local and global manufacturing solutions
Lead small to medium MES implementation projects at production sites globally in cooperation with IT units and the business community
Work with OT teams to ensure MES integration with shop-floor systems and understand OT data flows
Assist in creation and configuration of Master Batch Records (MBRs) within manufacturing and quality processes
Provide incident and problem management for MES deployments and drive continuous improvement
Lead structured investigations (root cause analysis) and document findings per GMP/regulatory standards
Analyze incident trends to propose improvements to MES templates, deployment strategies, or integration points
Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on investigation outcomes and next steps

Requisitos principales

1–3 years of experience in production processes with IT or engineering focus
Knowledge or experience with MES (Körber PAS-X 3.2/3.3) is a plus
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies (Windows/Linux, Citrix) and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Team player with ability to learn, solution-oriented, and comfortable in international environments
Excellent command of English
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or similar natural sciences
Understanding of OT environments and their role in pharmaceutical manufacturing (data acquisition and control)
Nice to have knowledge of Docker or RedHat OpenShift/Kubernetes
Nice to have experience with MBR design/lifecycle management in MES in regulated environments
Nice to have hands-on experience with Docker-based deployments and Oracle DB administration/integration
