In this role, you will lead MES data platform initiatives to unlock value from manufacturing data. You will act as a technical consultant within IT Operations and Laboratory, shaping data streaming and integration across the Dataland ecosystem. You’ll work in a GMP-validated environment, driving secure, compliant installations and ongoing improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. This position offers hybrid work and global collaboration, with a meaningful impact on manufacturing operations.

Responsabilidades

Lead initiatives to enhance MES data platform capabilities
Design, build, and maintain data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka
Implement and maintain changes in a validated GMP environment (installations, configurations, updates)
Monitor platform performance, address availability issues, ensure secure and compliant operations
Automate tasks and develop self-service tools for Kafka management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kafka into the AWS-based Dataland ecosystem
Engage with stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions
Mentor junior team members

Requisitos principales

Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related scientific field
Several years of experience in an international IT environment with proven project management and stakeholder engagement
Profound knowledge in system engineering and consulting within manufacturing IT
Strong knowledge in Apache Kafka, data streaming, ETL processes, and related programming tools
Experience with Kafka security features (SSL, SASL, ACLs) and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
Ability to work in a validated GMP environment and follow compliance protocols
Fluent English (writing and speaking); German is a plus
