As a Mechanical Filling Engineer, you will design and optimize filling/dosing systems for powders, liquids and solids, ensuring performance and compliance with market needs. You’ll lead cross-functional development with Marketing, Product Management and R&D, driving continuous improvement and differentiating our mechanical solutions. You’ll create and review 3D models, drawings and BOMs, and coordinate internal and external technical work to align with project goals. This role offers meaningful impact through advanced hardware-software integration and knowledge transfer across teams. Responsabilidades
- Lead and optimize filling processes for liquids, powders and solids
- Ensure solutions meet market requirements and customer expectations
- Guarantee best-in-class mechanical solutions with hardware/software integration
- Create assembly drawings, part drawings, 3D models, calculations and BOMs
- Coordinate external technical work within Coesia and external partners
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and feedback across product development, manufacturing and service
Requisitos principales
- Engineering Graduate in Industrial, Food technologies or Chemical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in filling/dosing systems (auger, powder, piston filler or flowmeters)
- Experience in hygienic design of machinery or packaging/automated equipment advantageous
- Strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks and CREO advantageous)
- Advanced FEA, analytical/mathematical skills
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics and liquid behavior
- Automation knowledge (PLC, servo-motors) and pneumatics appreciated
- Basic MS Office and familiarity with ERP
- Advanced English; other languages advantageous
- Willingness for sporadic worldwide travel
