As Material Manager, you coordinate material needs for wind turbine construction sites and ensure timely orders in SAP. You will liaise across installations, service, and spare-parts teams to optimize inventories and avoid bottlenecks. The role combines planning, supplier interaction, and data-driven process improvements to support sustainable project delivery. You’ll work with cross-functional colleagues to create project-specific material plans and drive on-time delivery at scale.

Responsabilidades

Create and track project-relevant material orders in SAP
Monitor on-time delivery and proactively manage bottlenecks
Interface activities between installations and service department
Support local identification of spare parts
Analyze and optimize PM inventoriesConsidering exchange groups, variants, and historical consumption
Collaborate with Service Spare Parts Management, Production, Site Management on operational issues
Develop project-specific material management plans
Participate in material-relevant coordination meetings
Continuously improve processes and data management
Handle additional tasks and projects related to material management

Requisitos principales

Several years of relevant professional experience in procurement or materials management
Excellent knowledge of SAP MM and MS Office
Very good written and spoken English
Independent, structured, goal-oriented work style with binding and appreciative behavior
Completed studies or commercial/technical training with further qualification
