Responsabilidades

Keep environmental permits up to date and file timely reports
Serve as point of contact for federal, state and local regulators
Coordinate environmental programs (hazardous materials, air emissions, storm water, Emergency Action, Site Preparedness)
Review incidents and conduct field audits; manage corrective actions and retraining
Maintain environmental training documentation
Conduct routine to complex tests on finished product and raw materials; complete required paperwork
Maintain product and material expertise; train Lab Technicians and plant personnel
Determine quality and process improvement parameters by analyzing statistical trends in manufacturing
Perform customer complaint investigations
Communicate with all plant departments to investigate and resolve quality issues
Operate laboratory equipment essential to job functions
Other tasks as assigned

Requisitos principales

2+ years manufacturing experience (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental, or chemical background (preferred)
Leadership and analytical skills to oversee Quality Department
Willingness to travel locally occasionally
