In this leadership role, you will steer Datadog’s AI Platform across scale, guiding a growing team to deliver end-to-end AI development—from training to deployment and monitoring. You’ll shape the technical vision, roadmaps, and organizational structure, collaborating with partner teams to integrate AI across products and infrastructure. You’ll drive a customer-focused engineering culture while enabling rapid iteration on a strategic, early-stage AI initiative.

Responsabilidades

Lead an expanding organization of ~20 people across 2–3 teams, defining the roadmap and technical direction
Collaborate with engineering and product management to shape future roadmaps and alignment with business goals
Foster a strong engineering culture centered on standards and customer-centric delivery
Support full AI lifecycle including model training, serving, deployment and monitoring
Partner with AI platform, Applied AI, product engineering, and infrastructure teams to build scalable systems from the ground up

Requisitos principales

Led teams that built 0→1 ML/AI platforms with emphasis on Open Source Tooling (Ray/AnyScale)
Experienced engineer with ability to influence technical direction
People leader who has managed managers and built high-performing software teams
Track record of delivering high-quality software on schedule and collaborating with product partners
Interest in early-stage projects with high ambiguity and fast iteration cycles
