In this role you drive the design, delivery and ongoing support of enterprise software, partnering with cross-functional teams to modernize and secure applications. You lead a development and support cast, oversee multiple initiatives, and ensure platforms are scalable, reliable and compliant. You’ll influence technology strategy, governance and DR readiness, while mentoring teams to improve delivery and performance. This is a hands-on, fast-paced leadership position in a technology-driven logistics environment.

Responsabilidades

Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams to design and implement scalable, highly available, and resilient platforms
Ensure applications are designed with infrastructure considerations including capacity planning, performance tuning, failover, and recovery
Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and platform engineering practices where applicable
Oversee environment strategy (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD) ensuring consistency, automation, and governance across environments
Ensure observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) is in place to support proactive issue detection and performance management
Collaborate on disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, including testing and validation of recovery objectives (RTO/RPO)
Ensure infrastructure security standards, patching, and vulnerability remediation are incorporated into application lifecycle
Support infrastructure cost optimization initiatives through efficient resource utilization and architectural decisions
Partners with leadership to drive innovation of capabilities by understanding business needs and evolving technologies
Provide technical leadership to team of developers to meet business needs and set team priorities
Define, implement and promote processes, best practices and standards for application development and deployment
Work closely with other departments to align solutions with business needs and innovation
Manage budget and resource planning
Manage all aspects of application development and support, including performance and incident resolution
Coaches and counsels employees on performance and HR actions

Requisitos principales

Seven (7) years or more experience in Application Development and IT Project Management
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with ability to lead and develop a self-directed workforce
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of delivering initiatives and resolving technical barriers
