In Newark, CA, you will lead the Maintenance Department to ensure equipment reliability and maximize uptime. You’ll partner with operations to drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvements, shaping how we keep the plant running smoothly. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce downtime and support safe, efficient production. You will be a key driver of reliability in a family-owned environment that values practical, safe, and proactive maintenance.

Responsabilidades

  • Manages the Maintenance Department
  • Investigates and troubleshoots plant equipment
  • Oversees procurement parts and inventory
  • Schedules and executes maintenance to maximize equipment availability
  • Determines when shutdowns are necessary and estimates downtime
  • Directs repair procedures and defines scope of problems
  • Plans and prepares work and shutdown schedules
  • Works with plant personnel to execute maintenance schedule
  • Communicates with vendors and manages facility projects
  • Upholds company values through training, coaching and counsel of personnel
  • Adheres to safety rules and reports/corrects hazardous conditions
  • Performs all other tasks as assigned

Requisitos principales

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical (preferred)
  • Five years+ industrial experience in engineering and management (preferred)
  • Management experience
  • Strong organizational skills
