In this role you will architect and operate scalable, secure data platforms in cloud environments to support a major hedge fund’s rapidly evolving business. You will lead DevOps maturity efforts, build cross-functional collaboration, and design reliable CI/CD pipelines and observability solutions. You’ll balance performance with cost efficiency, mentor peers, and ensure compliance and security across the platform. Responsabilidades

Architect and deploy scalable, secure data platforms on cloud technologies
Build cloud solutions across AWS and Azure for resilience and flexibility
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement workflows following best practices
Develop CI/CD pipelines for data platforms and ensure testing and deployment quality
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure health
Optimize compute and storage for cost-efficiency without compromising performance
Mentor team members on cluster management, job optimization, and resource allocation
Ensure platform compliance and meet security requirements
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across infrastructure
Regularly review and improve architectures to meet evolving business/tech needs

Requisitos principales

Experience with leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Deep understanding of CI/CD, source control, and infrastructure management
Enterprise-scale software development and release management experience
Experience with infrastructure aspects (Networking, Compute, Security, IAM, Configuration Automation)
Expert knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, C/C++, Scala, Java, Ruby)
Strategic thinking, complex problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to assess and rapidly resolve business-critical issues during on-call shifts
Team-oriented and collaborative
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
