As part of AXA's Internal Model Review (IMR) within Group Risk Management, you will lead in-depth evaluations of the Internal Model, focusing on financial and life/technical risks. You’ll work across local entities and central Group models to assess modelling choices, calibrations, and code integrity, contributing to remediation and governance. This role blends technical model review with cross-border collaboration in a multinational setting. You’ll shape the robustness of risk models used to determine capital adequacy and risk metrics, in Madrid.

Responsabilidades

Develop and implement a methodology to review Group models similar to local-entity approaches
Review Life and Financial risks (Market/Credit) and their component aggregation
Assess scope, calibrations, shocks application, and Group-level model developments
Evaluate BEL calculations, ALM interactions, and best estimate assumptions
Review model codes and challenge modelling approaches
Lead technical meetings with Group and local entity experts and execute testing procedures
Produce technical reports detailing deficiencies and improvement opportunities
Oversee remediation plans and model changes at local and Group levels
Participate in governance for model validation through S2 committees, STEC, and expert communities
Write and present conclusions to risk owners and top management

Requisitos principales

3–4 years in investment, actuarial or risk management roles or actuarial consulting
Programming experience in Python and R; knowledge of VBA and C desirable
Familiarity with Dynamic Financial Analysis (DFA) models
Solid understanding of Solvency II principles and related accounting/regulatory frameworks
Experience with life and financial models (ALM, Moses/Risk Agility, Prophet, Sunrise, etc.)
Ability to work in English and present complex findings to senior stakeholders
Exposure to Internal Models at AXA or other insurers is advantageous
Willingness to travel occasionally within AXA Group
