In this role you will design and implement security across Netskope’s cloud platform, shaping enterprise-scale protection for public cloud services. You’ll work with product engineers and security researchers to balance performance and protection, guiding architecture decisions and developing security patterns. You will translate complex threats into practical designs, contributing to standardized practices and driving security-conscious product development. This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic, global security team with a clear mission to secure cloud platforms at scale.

Responsabilidades

Build threat models to secure core cloud platform services
Define protections to enable product teams to use new cloud features
Co-author next-generation cloud platform designs accounting for evolving threat and product landscapes
Specify solution intent, interfaces, and functional/non-functional requirements
Ensure solutions fit for purpose through stakeholder and vendor collaboration
Develop best practices and standardized templates
Plan and prioritize architecture backlog with Product Managers/Owners
Clarify architecture for engineering teams and resolve impediments
Perform design and code reviews ensuring security, scalability, usability, reliability, maintainability, and performance
Develop security patterns, standards, and architectural decision records for data protection
Design and develop data security architectures for cloud and hybrid systems
Contribute to secure design principles and best practices

Requisitos principales

Experience designing and implementing security services/solutions for GCP, Azure, and AWS
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, Linux, and security at scale
Experience collaborating with engineering product teams to bring solutions to market
Strong communication and cross-team collaboration abilities
Understanding of compliance needs and evidence collection
Moderate scripting, automation, and data aggregation skills
Self-starter with leadership capabilities and ability to work with limited supervision
10+ years building security infrastructure and solutions in financial industries
Experience with a broad set of security technologies and processes in on-premise, public, private, and hybrid cloud
Experience with Hybrid cloud architectures and designs
Experience with Internet Application Hosting architectures and related security practices
DevSecOps/Infrastructure as Code, Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), API Gateways, and related web app tech (preferred)
Knowledge of enterprise security concepts/frameworks and best practices
Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF preferred; Cloud security certifications preferred
