In this role, you will lead the SPI Welding control as part of Alstom’s Special Processes, ensuring EN15085 compliance across railway contracts. You’ll collaborate with production and quality teams to industrialize welding processes, manage risk, and qualify both product and processes. You’ll train staff, perform audits, and drive continuous improvements while aligning with project planning. This is a chance to shape welding standards in cutting-edge rolling-stock projects within a globally connected rail organization.

Responsabilidades
- Coordinate industrial control of Special Processes (SP) Welding
- Ensure compliance with EN15085 and Alstom rules
- Contribute to tender phase with design/industrialization input
- Support specification and design phases
- Manage Process FMEA and improvement actions
- Qualify product/process pairs and industrial means
- Develop local supplier capabilities
- Deploy and validate new processes per project plans
- Ensure training and qualification of workers to PS
- Maintain internal controls and SP rule compliance
- Conduct internal and external audits
- Monitor SP business rules and resolve issues
- Investigate non-conformities with root-cause analysis and repairs
- Participate in SP network meetings
- Suggest improvements to SP rules and processes
Requisitos principales
- Engineering degree in process engineering, mechanical or chemical
- IWE training/qualification
- 2–5 years in industrial method
- Experience with the SP (Special Process) welding
- Trained to AT Special Process standard
- Recognised as expert by SP central coordinator
- Knowledge of 3D Catia
- Experience in EN15085 Railway sector
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of UNE EN ISO 14731 (Level A)
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
