In this role you will act as the Fire Line of Business expert for the Underwriting Centre and oversee Iberia property underwriting. You will collaborate with brokers and internal stakeholders to tailor programs that balance profitability with client needs, while ensuring guidance aligns with Chubb’s guidelines. You will evaluate risks, negotiate terms, and drive cross-functional initiatives to grow and preserve a sustainable portfolio. This position offers the chance to shape underwriting strategy across Iberia within a multinational, client-focused environment.

Responsabilidades

Serve as Fire LOB expert and Property Underwriter for Iberia, interpreting terms and tailoring programs to client needs
Provide exceptional service to brokers and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Underwrite, evaluate, and price risks in line with guidelines and authority, balancing coverage with market requirements
Collaborate with underwriting and sales to grow and optimise portfolio performance
Promote cross-selling opportunities and support business development initiatives
Review offers and lead negotiations with brokers to reach mutually beneficial solutions
Maintain strong broker relationships and deliver quality service across policy lifecycles
Support policy management through analysis and problem-solving of complex risks
Work with Operations, Claims, and segment leaders to achieve business objectives
Identify and prioritise opportunities aligned with Chubb’s goals and conduct loss analysis to drive improvements

Requisitos principales

Extensive Property underwriting experience (minimum 10 years); fire line growth with international scope
Native Spanish and good English proficiency
Bachelor's degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills and relationship-building ability
Attention to detail, deadline adherence, and commitment to high-quality service
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to leverage technology for underwriting efficiency
