In this role you will contribute to delivering reliable, secure and user-ready digital solutions for a major financial institution. You will work in a Functional Testing team, shaping test automation and the testing environment to ensure quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation, AI-assisted testing, and robust test data management at scale. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on improving testing efficiency and outcomes in a digitally-driven financial context.

Responsabilidades

Design, set up and advance the test automation framework (scripts, simulators, test data)
Design and implement test cases for automation and consult on tooling
Assist in selecting and deploying new test tools
Develop AI-based testing capabilities and digital twins for test objects
Analyze and fix defects in test automation tools; support bug analysis
Document and resolve software defects; contribute to automated reporting
Create production-like internal acceptance test environments and ensure readiness
Install and configure databases, APIs, gateways, interfaces, and mock-ups
Set up test tools; support the automation team; manage environment functionality
Manage tester registry and access rights; support role-based access concepts

Requisitos principales

Extensive experience with agile methods (e.g., SAFe)
Proficient with Jira and Confluence; strong test management experience (e.g., Xray)
Experience documenting test cases; knowledge of databases and API interfaces
ISTQB certification desirable (Foundation/Agile/Test Automation)
Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python
Experience with CI/CD processes and test automation tools (e.g., Eggplant)
Experience with AI in software testing; automated interface testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) and networking concepts
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios); version control (GitLab)
Experience in setting up and managing test environments, virtualization (VMware), and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of Windows/Linux/Unix environments; RBAC/Active Directory concepts
