In this Estimator role, you will prepare detailed restoration estimates using Xactimate and adhere to IICRC standards to support commercial and insurance-related projects. You will work closely with project teams to scope work on-site, document losses, and manage estimates through the lifecycle with carrier and client feedback. The position combines technical estimation with documentation, communication, and risk assessment to drive accurate, timely bids. This opportunity lets you apply construction knowledge to quantify labor, materials, and equipment for complex loss scenarios, contributing to efficient project execution.

Responsabilidades

Inspect and scope jobs on-site and coordinate with Project Manager, Crew Chief, and Lead Tech on scope of work
Document losses with descriptive photos and upload into the operating system/software
Prepare mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software
Record notes and key information in required software to communicate project details
Estimate according to carrier audit standards and adjust based on client feedback
Ensure all required documentation is complete (photos, notes, signed documents) in collaboration with PM/lead tech
Use mobile software to track drying progress
Determine labor and equipment costs
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner
Manage all estimate documents and assess project risks
Review quotes and estimates with the construction project team
Address estimate exceptions promptly

Requisitos principales

Xactimate experience is essential
basic construction background with understanding of building materials, flooring, and property damage causes
knowledge of commercial and insurance restoration industry
familiarity with IICRC standards
ability to inspect onsite and collaborate with field teams
