In this role, you lead the Mobile Engineering team to deliver next‑generation mobile apps for Dow Jones brands. You partner with product and cross‑functional colleagues to plan scope, drive timely delivery, and mentor engineers. You influence the technical direction, architecture, and roadmaps while handling complex project management and performance feedback. You will shape mobile solutions that impact readers and users, within a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Responsabilidades

Oversee team productivity, delegate tasks, manage performance, and provide career development feedback
Lead technical discussions, guide architectural decisions, and contribute to bug fixes and small features
Partner with product teams to manage scope and deliverables, focus on high-impact projects, and lead recruiting for headcount

Requisitos principales

7+ years of experience in iOS and/or Android native mobile development
At least 1 year of experience managing mobile engineering teams
Hands-on experience with Kotlin + Jetpack Compose or Swift + SwiftUI
Proficiency in data structures, system design, design patterns, and API design; familiarity with MVP/MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps practices
Full-stack background desirable with knowledge of cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase
