In this role, you lead the ML Platform team to enable scalable, production-grade ML capabilities across Preply. You’ll partner with ML practitioners, data teams, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable infrastructure and tooling. You drive architecture decisions, improve efficiency, and foster an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture. This is a chance to shape how ML powers learning experiences for tutors and learners at a global scale.

Responsabilidades

Lead and nurture a senior team focused on ML infra, data streaming, and scalable systems
Build reusable tools and self-service capabilities to accelerate ML workflows
Mentor engineers and promote inclusive, collaborative culture
Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities with DS/ML and product leadership
Own execution and delivery, ensuring quality and timely outcomes
Provide technical leadership on system design, trade-offs, and blockers
Advocate engineering best practices, code quality, and scalable processes

Requisitos principales

Proven experience designing and scaling ML infrastructure or big data platforms in production
Strong background in ML Ops, data streaming (Kafka), feature stores, model deployment, or real-time processing
Hands-on engineering experience and strong system design fundamentals
Experience collaborating with DS/ML teams, enabling them with scalable tooling
Experience in building, leading, and scaling development teams
Ethical leadership: lead by example with integrity and transparency
