In this leadership role, you will steer two engineering teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software that supports Preply’s learning platform. You will shape long-term team strategy and collaborate with Product, Data and Design to drive the most impactful initiatives. Your work empowers engineers through coaching and best-practices, enabling scalable growth and rapid delivery. This position offers influence over architecture, culture, and cross-functional alignment in a fast-growing learning tech company.

Responsabilidades

Lead and grow two engineering teams with focus on ownership and technical excellence
Coach and develop engineers through mentorship and career growth opportunities
Define and drive long-term vision and strategy aligned with company goals
Identify high-impact opportunities with Product, Data, and Design and prioritize initiatives
Own execution, ensure technical quality, reliability, and timely outcomes
Provide technical leadership for system design and architectural decisions
Champion engineering best practices and scalable processes across the tech stack
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to align priorities and outcomes

Requisitos principales

Degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field
3-5+ years of experience building, leading, and scaling development teams
People-centric leadership and team-building skills
Provide technical expertise: driving best practices, tooling adoption, and architectural alignment
Results-oriented with ability to set and achieve ambitious, business-focused goals
Ethical leadership and integrity in guiding team and culture
