In this role you will develop and refine the Nordex Acciona wind farm controller, bridging software, electrical engineering and grid compliance. You will validate software in lab and on-site, optimize control performance, and implement IEC61131-3 PLC programming and Matlab/Simulink models. You will collaborate with control, grid code and test teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions for a growing wind farm fleet.

Responsabilidades

Define wind farm control requirements and architectures
Software development for the wind farm controller
Laboratory and field validation (remote testing) of control software
Control performance optimization and tuning
PLC programming using IEC61131-3 and Matlab/Simulink
Development and optimization of communication interfaces
Close collaboration with stakeholders (Control, Grid Code, Lab test teams)
Provide 3rd level support for Nordex Acciona wind farm fleet

Requisitos principales

Degree in Control, Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering
Deep knowledge in PLC programming with IEC61131-3 and Matlab/Simulink
Deep knowledge in PLC architectures
Deep knowledge in industrial communication protocols: Profinet, Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC60870-5-101/104, DNP3, OPC_UA, Bluecom
Good experience in control algorithms and network technology
Good experience on Renewable Power Plant & Grid Codes
English very good; German or Spanish desirable
2-3 years work experience in a similar role
Willingness to travel
